Healing Ministry

Healing Prayer practicing the Laying On Of Hands is available Sunday after the 10:15am service on a first come first served basis. Individual prayer ministry by appointment or hospital visits can be arranged, as well (see below). This type of prayer addresses various needs including physical healing, healing of emotional wounds, healing of relationships, healing of addiction, all types of grief, spiritual healing, and generational healing. Some or all of these areas may need prayer over time to bring complete healing to a recipient. All prayer with Healing Ministers is confidential.

Monthly Healing Prayer Service

Mark 1:35; Luke 5:16; Mark 3:13; Mark 8:22-26; Ps. 23: 1-3; Zeph. 3:17

Offered 2nd Thursdays of the month at 7pm September through June at Good Shepherd and July and August at St. Andrews.  Dates/times change occasionally so watch for updates on the web and in church announcements and bulletins.

Healing prayer Appointments Are Available.

If you are unable to attend 10:15am Sunday service or would like a private prayer session, appointments with trained team members (two prayer ministers) may be arranged. See above under Healing Ministry for a description. Sessions are strictly confidential. Hospital visits are available, as well. Healing Prayer Ministry Training

Healing Prayer Ministry Training is offered for current and prospective prayer ministers once or twice a year with material from the School of Healing Prayer created by Christian Healing Ministries of Jacksonville, FL. The courses come in three, distinct levels. Beginner: Level 1 | Intermediate: Level 2 | Advanced: Level 3. The teachings are taught in person by Amy O’Neil using DVD videos and materials from CHM, as well as through practicums.

**Due to the confidential nature of healing prayer, all information shared with the Healing Ministry or the Prayer Chain leadership will not be shared or communicated to other organizations within the church.  Please see Service Ministries or contact the church office to arrange any support needed outside of intercessory or healing prayer.
